Our school operates an open door policy for parents to approach teachers to discuss their child’s progress. We ask that this is done just before or at the end of lessons. The Head Teacher is available to speak to every Saturday, however, it is advisable to make an appointment.

In addition, parent consultations are held three times a year and advance notification will be given to parents of the dates.  All parents are expected to attend the consultations to discuss their child’s progress.  Reports are given at the end of the academic year (July).

Teachers will assess a child’s progress throughout the academic year and usually the child will progress to the next class each year. However, in certain circumstances, if a teacher feels that a child is not ready to progress to the next class, the parents will be advised that the year is repeated for the benefit of the child.
